Sunlight dying on the
cold horizon; lingering adoration
within sentimental messages
from this blonde ambition.
Those wretched words
caressing my skin.
The bottle of
Tennessee Honey
on the dusty shelf.
The bitter
sweet memories
she left me,
kept on display.
