Yesterday, I watched “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” episode six, “Lost In Translation.” A story about aliens in a Deuterium nebula who are being killed by Starfleet; who sees the nebula as a source of fuel. Only Ensign Uhura can hear them, but the signal makes her go crazy. Once she realizes what is happening, she convinces Captain Pike, with the support of Lieutenant James T. Kirk, to stop mining the gas.
I enjoyed this episode, especially the moments that brought closure for a couple of crewmen struggling with the loss of Chief Hemmer.
