More weird dreams but I slept through the night.
Last night, I watched “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” season two finale titled “Hegemony.” The return of the Gorn tests the crew of the Enterprise as Pike and his team attempt to rescue Captain Patel, the surviving crew members from her ship the USS Cayuga, and the colonists at the edge of Federation space.
Montgomery Scott makes his Strange New Worlds introduction and has the key to an advantage over the Gorn.
Captain Patel reveals her deadly fate, Spock and Chapel take down a Gorn in the most bad-ass way, La’An, M’Benga, and Ortega are captured, and a season-ending cliffhanger that has Captain Pike speechless.
The suspenseful episode sets up the third season for what I believe are more changes to the crew. Unfortunately, we are left to ponder the fate of the USS Enterprise for a year.
