Yesterday, I watched the Netflix six-episode series “A Man in Full.” It is a story about a wealthy man who owed over $1 billion in debt, and one of the largest banks he owed the most significant portion of debt went after him and his assets. This morning, I took my car in for maintenance service; as with every visit, the bill came with a list of servicing needs and estimates—one of the perks of adulthood.
