Weekends go by so quickly.

YouTube decided to stop monetizing my channel due to my reaction videos reusing content. I mentioned in my last post that I was on the fence as to whether to stop spending time making videos and their action made the decision for me.

I interviewed with a company last Thursday, and it went well; I thought it went well. On Tuesday, they followed up to let me know the company had filled the position. It made no sense to receive an interview if they were already offering the role to someone.

Thursday morning started eventfully — my car’s running lights weren’t working, and a tire pressure warning came on. I stopped at Chevron, used my portable air pump to fill the back tires, and while leaving, I accidentally backed into a forklift. Thankfully, there was no damage to either my car or the forklift, so everything ended fine.

Friday was ten years since the passing of my best friend.

Saturday, I watched Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Deathwatch, an eight-episode animated series on Netflix. A binge-worthy moment if you have the time.

I am working on rewrites of my story, The Exchange, after receiving feedback from an industry evaluation that effectively laid out the strengths, weaknesses, and prospects. I understand the work needed, and I have to be patient.
