Write Now and Later

I am putting myself “out there”
without concern toward
the reactions of others.

I am doing the unexpected
in order to obtain
the unachievable.

I am allowing the nostalgia
to erase the unwanted imprints.
There is some discomfort yet,
it is expected.

I am not the man I was
however, the transformation
is incomplete.
