It’s been a while since my last post. Hard to believe we’re in October, and yet it feels like it took forever to get here.
I’ve reached my sixth month at the new job, and it’s not so new anymore. I remember telling a coworker at a previous company that if I had to deal with a shit show, it would at least be a higher-paying shit show. I regret speaking that into existence.
Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), was found dead in his car this past Sunday. The cause of death is unconfirmed. He was 40 years old. The news took me by surprise, especially since I watched him wrestle the night before his death at the AEW All Out pay-per-view in Chicago. His fellow wrestlers’ sentiments were tough for me to watch emotionally.
I’ve been enjoying the DC Studios series “Lanterns” so much that I’ve been establishing my own evidence board and case files, attempting to solve the various mysteries. I’m looking forward to the finale on Sunday.
Meanwhile…
Something from the sketchbook.
Have a great weekend.
