Thoughts: The Walking Dead – “Bury Me Here”

It was just a matter of time.

Richard’s plan to show King Ezekiel the reason the Kingdom should fight the Saviors led to a breaking point.  The story’s focus was Morgan Jones maxresdefaultand the dilemma of believing all life is precious in a world that devalues all life.  We see Morgan come full circle from “Here Not Here” and the instrument of peace is sharpened into a weapon for war.

I liked this episode; the storytelling took us into the mind a man whose quest for peace became sullied in the depth of a grave.  His revelation of the Alexandria murders by the Saviors to Carol was the clear sign he could no longer hold on to the ways of Aikido.  The shattered pieces once held together by a simple ideology is broken again.

Well done AMCtv.
