Review: I Lose People; I Lose Myself

I decided to give Fear the Walking Dead another chance and binged watched the second half of season four.  The final four episodes peaked my interest.   While this is another Morgan Jones facing his past situation; the premise, “can kindness still exist in the apocalypse” proved interesting.  The dichotomy associated with kindness.  The behavior as a strength versus a weakness.

The episodes’ portrayal of a society where only the strong survive, provided an introspective.   In a world that is growing cold, kindness is the morsel of hope that humanity still exists.  Morgan’s therapy is based on helping others. The teachings of a cheesemaker through Aikido. His kindness towards others despite the malice in their hearts takes strength.  We can’t help everyone and we will lose people, which makes our acts of kindness even more meaningful.
