I went to see Spiderman Far From Home. It was a fun movie that brought closure to Marvel’s Phase 4. The story takes place” post-snap,” referred to as” the blip.” Peter Parker’s wanted to spend his summer trip to Europe as a kid, with the goal of not being a superhero. Peter also “ghosts” Nick Fury’s calls. Fury catches up with Peter and maneuvers him into an alliance with Mysterio. We learn that Mysterio was a former employee of Tony Stark, and with the help of other former Stark employees, he launches a catastrophic plan to end Stark’s legacy. Spiderman saves the, gets the girl, and a happy ending, well. There were a couple of surprising post-credit scenes one involving J. Jonah Jameson and the Daily Bugle and the other revealing that Fury and Hill were Skrulls (Talos and his wife). Nick Fury was in space onboard a Skrull ship; possibly an espionage war against the Kree and setting up the next event tie-in for future MCU movies.
I liked this film.
