Things Change | Every Moment is a Story
It is in September the clock has lost its seconds. Nothing has gone well, and I feel immensely overwhelmed. The thought of losing everything I spent 30 years working for frightens me. I am horrified by this feeling of helplessness. So many people sent away penniless while the wealthy report their newfound glory. The nation’s powers negotiate our livelihoods as supplements within the grand scheme. There are days when I hold on to optimism, and there are days when I want to give it up. The new normal is unresolved, becoming a terminal condition; I only have my soul to sell.
