The experts say that the next few weeks will be our darkest moments yet-a disappointing prediction with all this mounting debt. I decided not to go to the pumpkin orchard; the mood was putrid and sullied. My neighbors were up all night, talking gibberish and yelling. We continue pushing toward solving the money problem, setbacks around every corner. I am spending the fall season packing because we may not be here much longer.
