The show started with what many viewed as questionable content. Why would the Avengers be in retro-television sitcoms? However, as the storyline progressed, we got to see the world from Wanda’s life and then everything started making sense. The story is based on grief and how it is processed. Monica Rambeau showed us how to accept loss while Wanda showed us how loss can consume us.
There was a lot of beautiful writing in this series. Poetry and prose intertwined. Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Kathryn Hahn portrayed their characters brilliantly. I always felt that the story of Wanda and Vision deserved better in the films and this series did it justice.
