The second day of the new job; my first day in the office. My 8:30 am arrival time changed to 7:00 am due to training being added to the schedule late yesterday. My point of contact wasn’t available that early, and I needed help accessing the building; the security guard was helpful and friendly – she helped me find my desk.
I discovered my seat was wet after I sat down. I felt water dripping on me from the ceiling. My training was virtual, but my setup was missing a headset and webcam; I had to improvise.
Overall, the day started as expected.
