This time of the year is tough for me. My past still haunts me. The morning started with a confrontation, which set the tone for the rest of the day. I wish my days were easier to deal with as I get older.
I spoke with my brother Friday night. During our conversation, he asked me whether I remembered anything before I was born. I didn’t. He then asked what makes us believe there will be something for us after we die. We spend our childhood living under the belief that we must sacrifice our lives in the here and now for a better afterlife. I wasted so much time living like that.
I watched the film “Black Adam,” it was very entertaining.
