Seeing so many years gone by and there are so many milestones yet to see.
Expecting things to get easier but the challenges continue, with more difficulty, forcing me to reach deeper within myself.
Discovering what I while wondering what I have left to give.
Experiencing the trials of life never knowing what situations will come my way; experience is now my ally.
Enjoying the triumphs because they are so rare; never taking victories for grant no matter how great or how small.
Extending my life one more year is a blessing; as I look around, I find familiar faces wishing me well and I find myself missing those who are not around.
This culminates the end of one journey and the beginning of the next, venturing into the unknown.
