Review: Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House

enofh-exteriorLast Saturday night, I took my girls out for an evening of dining at Emeril’s New Orléans Fish House in the MGM Hotel. My experience has always been great and I could hardly wait to try some great food.

The “Alligator Meatballs” with the Collard Greens was a new appetizer for me.  I’ve eaten alligator before however, this was the best tasting alligator I’ve ever consumed.  That tender alligator meat with the “Sauce Piquant and Creole Mustard Emulsion” tasted like a spicy barbecue Salisbury steak. You have to try this, it was unbelievable.

My main course was the “Sweet Barbecued Organic Scottish Salmon” on top of an “Andouille Pork Sausage & Potato Hash”; covered with “Spicy Onion Crust”.  This salmon is best served medium rare (per the chef’s recommendation).  A fine delight with every bite.

For dessert, I had the “New Orléans Bread & Butter Bread Pudding”.  It was soft, sweet and buttery and it definitely hit the spot.

All of the employees were very courteous, friendly and never allowed us to wait for anything. This is one of my favorite dining spots in Las Vegas and I will be back again soon…very soon.
