Despite the fact that our air-conditioner stopped working at home this weekend, we made the most of our weekend. Friday night, July 7, 2017, I decided to do a little Deadpool cosplay while playing the video game, “Until Dawn”. That mask was very hot and difficult to breathe in but I managed to get about 17-minutes of footage for my vlog.
On Saturday night, July 8, 2017, we went to see Sinbad at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas. Sinbad had us in stitches with his storytelling, audience trolling, and advice on any problem we threw at him. It was our first time seeing him live and we plan on seeing him again the next time he performs here in Vegas. If he is performing in your city then I highly recommend you go see his performance.
Unfortunately, it was that night we noticed the air-conditioner stopped working after we got home. Luckily, the weather temperature was not too bad.
On Sunday, July 9, 2017, we went to see the film, “Spiderman Homecoming”. I will start by saying this is one of the best Spiderman movies produced. The cast assembled were great. Tom Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker was very reminiscent of the old school comics from the Silver Age. The moments of him balancing being a high school kid and being a superhero gave the character depth. I was equally impressed with Michael Keaton’s role as The Vulture. This film did a great job of establishing his backstory and why he became a villain. Robert Downey Jr., as Tony Stark, connected the Spiderman franchise to the Marvel Cinematic Universe very well. As with any Marvel movie, you’re gonna want to stay for the post-credit scenes.
Later that Sunday afternoon, we watched the WWE “Great Balls of Fire” Pay-per-View. Overall, it was considerably better than previous pay-per-views. The best matches of the night were the he Raw Tag Team Championship – 30-Minute Ironman Match between the Hardy Boys and Sheamus/Cesaro, the Raw Women’s Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks, the Ambulance Match between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns and the Raw Universal Championship match between Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar.
It was a fun weekend full of entertainment despite my house feeling like hot box; hopefully getting my air-conditioner fixed won’t cost me a fortune because I’m going to San Diego Comic-Con next week.

Luckily the a/c repair was an easy fix and not expensive.
