It’s been a while since I’ve felt the sun. Daily precipitation grows more intense. Finding my sense of direction, moving away from the storm yet, tethered to the chaotic attraction.
Thunder without the touch of lightning.
All I have is the rain.
Time is up.
It should never have gone this long. We crossed the threshold of no return. There are days when my sarcasm takes over; my psyche is coming to the rescue passive-aggressively. I hoped by this time that I would have solved one problem and then introduced myself to another.
However, we reached the moment of exhaustion; we are standing still.
The sun is setting rapidly. Our gates in shambles; our walls have crumbled. It is time to start packing. They have released the hounds; the end is here.
