Stumbling

Just a few weeks into the new year, the news around the world project similarities of events from years prior and yet there is the scent of something prophetic in the air. Wars, disasters, and financial declines garner the attention of global journalism and yet the subtle indicators that confound our intellect earns neither attention nor consideration of investigation.

Generations of “baby boomers” wait patiently for their opportunity to enjoy the sunsets, while generations of “millennials” push for a new genesis. We watch the rise of the “insignificant” and the decline of the “dominant”.

Where will this year take us? Will the journey reveal light at the end or find us stumbling over the edge into a void of darkness?
